Career Opportunity - Technical Service – Polyurethane Additives The Business Line Polyurethane Additives of Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation, market leader in specialty additives for the PU foam industry, is strengthening its technical team in North America. We are looking for a Technical Application Expert for our Rigid Foam team, to support our multinational and regional customers in appliance and construction applications. The applicant will work out of our Competence Center in Hopewell, VA

What We Need You to Do:

• Technical Customer Service - work with our customers to provide the highest level of expertise, on-site technical support, and to identify customized solutions
• Product Development and Product Validation – work to design new products and evaluate those products in our well-equipped scientifically sound laboratories
• Collaborate between North America & Global R&D in Essen, Germany – working within our global matrix organization on the technical and commercial needs of our internationally oriented customers
• Prepare Technical Literature & Customer Seminars – share our knowledge and expertise to make our customers even more efficient

What You Need to Have:
Education- M.S. in Chemistry or Polymer Science preferred or B.S in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or
Related Experience- 3-10 years experience preferably in the rigid polyurethane industry.
Required Skills – team orientation, communication, relationship management, self-motivation, leadership experience preferred
