Merquinsa raises TPU prices by 10% worldwide

Merquinsa, Montmeló (Barcelona), Spain, has announced a 10% global price increase for its TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) specialty resins with effect from 10 May. The increase is in response to supply issues and cost increases for PU raw materials, the company said.

“The magnitude of the continued rise in raw materials costs makes this price increase essential to meet our customers’ needs long term,” according to Jean-Marc Galvez, global business manager at Merquinsa.
