Puren expands investment in China

Shanghai Huafon Puren Polyurethane Co. commissioned a 500,000 m³ PU rigid block foam manufacturing facility this month. This will be the largest facility in Asia.

The joint venture between Huafon Group and Puren GmbH uses state of the art manufacturing facilities and German expertise and formulations to produce FR, fluoride free, environmentally friendly foams.  A second phase of development may include a 2 million cubic metre continuous line to manufacture PU boardstock.

Huafon Puren supplies a wide range of thermal and acoustic polyurethane products to the Chinese market including, refrigerated vehicles, pipe in pipe insulation, wall and roof insulation systems.
