Roger Stubbs appointed Vice President of Stepan
Roger Stubbs has been promoted to the position of Vice President – European Polymers for Stepan Company, effective immediately. Stubbs will continue to have profit and loss responsibility for the company’s European Polymers business.
Stubbs began his career with Stepan in 1997 as Business Manager – European Polymers and was then promoted to Director – European Polymers in 2003. Prior to joining Stepan, Stubbs spent five years with Brenntag in multiple sales and marketing roles following four years Technical Sales experience with Union Carbide.
Stubbs has a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic of the South Bank in London and also completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Stubbs’ direct reports will continue to include the Area Sales Manager (Stefanie Kastning), Area Sales Manager (Jean Marc Gagnepain), Market Development Manager (Mark Perry) and Senior Technical Manager (Robert Sewell). Stubbs, who is also a Geschaftsführer of Stepan Deutschland the manufacturing unit that produces Stepanpol aromatic polyester polyols for the European market, will continue to report to Bob Wood, Vice President and General Manager of Stepan Company’s global Polymers business.
