Recticel appoints new CEO

In line with earlier announcements in relation to the search for a successor for Luc Vansteenkiste as CEO of Recticel, the Board of Directors has announced that Olivier Chapelle will join the group effective 1 December 2009.

It is the intention that Chapelle becomes CEO of Recticel as of 1 April 2010.After that date Vansteenkiste will remain a Member of the Board, and responsible for specific assignments.

Chapelle, 45, is a civil mechanical engineer from UCL and obtained a business management degree at Solvay Business School. He has gained considerable operational experience in several industrial companies including SmithKline Beecham Biologicals, Owens Corning, Faurecia, and Wagon Automotive.
