Theresa Lucado joins CPI as Manager Environment, Health, and Safety
Theresa Lucado joins the CPI from George Mason University where she worked as a university industrial hygienist supporting various departments including maintenance personnel, the carpentry shop, the paint shop, grounds, central heating and cooling plant, auto shop, HVAC shop, and several other departments. She has an MSPH in Industrial Hygiene from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a BS in Geology from the College of William and Mary.
Lucado also has a strong background in the coordination and development of written programmes to comply with regulations and industry standards, including respiratory protection, hearing conservation, medical surveillance, and animal handling as well as developing awareness in training programmes for hearing conservation, blood borne pathogens, and asbestos. She has been involved in conducting air and noise monitoring, including sampling for chemical vapours, bio-aerosol, and particulate sampling and conducted IAQ investigations and ergonomic assessments.
Lucado’s primary responsibilities will be to support CPI’s Product Stewardship Issues Management Group and its subgroups, PURRC, and several of the CPI-SPFA spray foam workgroups.
