Changes in Chemtura's Board of Directors

Effective immediately, John K. Wulff and Burton M. Joyce have been appointed as independent members of Chemtura's Board of Directors. Wulff will serve on the Board’s Audit Committee and Joyce will serve on the Board’s Finance & Pension Committee. Following the appointment, Stephen C. Forsyth, the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Billie S. Flaherty, the company’s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, resigned from the Board but will keep their respective positions within the company.

Effective beginning November 2009, Polytec Holding AG has appointed Andreas Jagl, 42, as new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

PMA names new President

Michael Katz is the new President of the Board of Directors for the Polyurethane Manufacturers Association (PMA). Prior to becoming President in October 2009, Katz served as Vice President and Treasurer, and a member of the Board from 2006 to 2009.

BASF has appointed Gerry Podesta as Group Vice President, Polyurethanes, in North America. He is based in Wyandotte, Michigan.

Effective 1 September 2009, Martin Lundin, 40, became the new President and CEO of Perstorp Holding AB.

Jürgen H. Stahl, 64, who has been the Managing Director of Duisburg based Klöckner polyPUR Chemie GmbH during the nine years since the formation of the company, has retired from this position at the end of September.

Changes in the Bayer management – Dekkers to become new CEO from 1 October 2010

Werner Wenning, 62, Bayer AG CEO since 2002, is to extend his contract of service by eight months to 30 September 2010, a few weeks before his 64th birthday. Bayer’s Supervisory Board appointed Netherlands-born Dr. Marijn E. Dekkers, 51, currently President and CEO of US laboratory equipment manufacturer Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., to succeed Wenning as CEO from 1 October 2010.

Effective 1 September 2009, Martin Lundin, 40, will become the new President and CEO of Perstorp Holding AB. Mats Persson, 46, will become Deputy CEO of the group on the same date.

New CEO at Satra

Austin Simmons has been appointed Satra’s top executive position after Richard Turner retired as Chief Executive at the end of June 2009. Simmons, who was Deputy Chief Executive from 2007, has worked closely with Turner for 13 years with a direct involvement in developing corporate strategy and initiatives across the company’s consumer and industrial product sectors.

Rogers Corporation names Senior Vice Presidents

Rogers Corporation has appointed Robert C. Daigle and Peter G. Kaczmarek to Senior Vice President. Both executives will continue in their current leadership roles, while expanding their responsibilities within the corporation.
