UTECH Europe 2024 hit over 10,000 attendance

 The total number of attendees over the three days of the event was a record 10,366 from 93 different countries, with over 220 exhibiting organisations taking part.

Conference speaker Dr Martin Baumert, Director of Technical Development at BASF added “UTECH Europe is an important platform for the polyurethane industry especially here in Europe. You meet many partners many customers and you can learn a lot about what's going on in polyurethane.”

Leslie Ji, Marketing Director at first-time exhibitor from China, Shandong Longhua New Material Co Ltd, said: “We highly recommend UTECH Europe. It is a great opportunity for clients, users and all different parts of the supply chain to combine together. It is a great show.”

Mila Skokova, Sales & Product Manager and Deputy Managing Director at H&S Anlagentechnik, who presented her company’s latest solutions for industrial scale recycling of rigid polyurethane foams in the conference, commented. “UTECH Europe is a vital platform for the polyurethane industry due to its excellent opportunities for networking, showcasing the newest advancements and technologies as well as new products. It is the best show for communication, for networking opportunities, for staying updated on the latest industry trends.”

Brieuc Lits, Public Affairs and Communications Officer at ISOPA, which hosted a regulation session in the conference added: “UTECH Europe is the place to be for the polyurethane industry if you want to keep up with the new regulations, with new innovations and also in terms of sustainability.

UTECH Europe returns to the MECC in Maastricht in three years’ time from 20-22 April 2027. The next event in the global UTECH calendar of polyurethane events is PU China / UTECH Asia, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre from 17-19 July 2024.
