Algenesis Labs Achieves Silver Medal in EcoVadis Sustainability Rating
Algenesis Labs (San Diego, CA, USA) announced it has earned a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, a global leader in sustainability assessments. With a remarkable score of 72, Algenesis ranks in the top 10th percentile of over 130,000 companies evaluated worldwide, highlighting its strong commitment to responsible business practices.
The EcoVadis assessment covers 21 criteria across Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

Algenesis created Soleic®, a high-performance, fully biodegradable polyurethane made from plants. EcoVadis bases its ratings on international standards including the UN Global Compact, ILO conventions, and ISO 26000, offering actionable roadmaps for improvement.
This recognition doesn’t mean our work is done; but it does show we are on the right path and we will continue to keep pushing for a better, cleaner solution to reduce microplastic in the world, while still making the coolest polymer products imaginable!
