Finish Finnfoam Group acquires Phonotherm
Finnfoam Group, a leading manufacturer of plastics-based thermal insulation solutions, has successfully acquired the “Phonotherm” business of BOSIG Baukunststoffe GmbH in Elsterwerda, Germany.
The acquisition of the “Phonotherm” product line, an insulating construction material and the primary product of BOSIG Baukunststoffe GmbH, involved in particular the takeover of more than 70 employees, the material assets and a long-term rental agreement concerning the production facilities.
The transaction was conducted following the initiation of self-administration insolvency proceedings for the assets of BOSIG Baukunststoffe GmbH, after a corresponding application had been filed by the company in mid-March 2025.
