Clariant receives outstanding supplier award for its flame retardants

Clariant’s additives business has been givena 2025 Schneider Electric Outstanding Supplier Award at Schneider Electric’s Global Supplier Day in Copenhagen. Clariant received this recognition despite not being a direct supplier, highlighting the strategic importance of Clariant’s flame retardant technologies in Schneider’s upstream value chain.

Clariant is a global producer of halogen-free flame retardant solutions, with a portfolio of patents and proprietary technologies. Schneider Electric particularly values Clariant’s Exolit OP Technology, which provides halogen-free flame retardant solutions that meet stringent safety standards. Clariant’s supply resilience measures, including significant investment in its Daya Bay production sites in China, have ensured reliable supply of these critical materials, further strengthening the partnership.
