Swiss additives specialist Repi has appointed Jochen Ahrens as managing director of Repi Asia and officially inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Singapore, strengthening its footprint in the Asia-Pacific polyurethane and thermoplastics markets.
Repi’s new Singapore plant was opened on February 20 and will produce performance additives and liquid colour systems for polyurethanes and thermoplastics. The company described the investment as a long-term strategic commitment to the region, aimed at expanding local production capacity and improving responsiveness to customers.
“This investment is more than just a new site – it’s a strategic step forward in our growth journey,” the company said. “By expanding local production capabilities in Singapore, we are moving closer to our customers, enhancing service levels, shortening lead times, and increasing flexibility across one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.”
According to Repi, the facility will support scalable growth while maintaining high quality standards. The site is intended to strengthen regional supply reliability and provide faster technical and commercial support to customers across Asia-Pacific.
In parallel with the plant opening, Repi confirmed the appointment of Jochen Ahrens as Managing Director of Repi Asia, based in Singapore.
