Rampf expands South American reach with Brazilian sales partnership

Germany-based RAMPF Group has strengthened its presence in South America through a new sales partnership with Brazilian distributor RAW, aimed at supplying polyurethane sealing systems and mixing and dispensing equipment across the region.

The agreement covers products from RAMPF Advanced Polymers and RAMPF Production Systems. RAW will provide sales, technical support and application expertise for polyurethane- and silicone-based sealing systems, as well as automated mixing and dispensing equipment.

Rampf said the partnership is designed to give South American customers more direct access to local technical support, application know-how and production services, spanning everything from material selection and equipment procurement through to serial production.

The company’s foam and elastomer gasket systems, based on polyurethane and silicone chemistries, are used to protect components from moisture, dust and chemical exposure in sectors including automotive, e-mobility, electrical and electronics, household appliances, packaging and medical technology. Rampf highlighted its FIPFG (Formed-In-Place Foam Gasket) and FIPG (Formed-In-Place Gasket) technologies as key to enabling automated and precise sealing directly onto components.

Rampf Production Systems’ equipment portfolio includes mixing and dispensing systems for processing polyurethane, epoxy and silicone materials in sealing, foaming, bonding and potting applications. The company said the systems are intended to improve process reliability while reducing cycle times and production waste.

Felipe Sako, managing director of RAW, said: “We combine sealing systems and dispensing technology from RAMPF into holistic end-to-end solutions and thereby clearly differentiate ourselves in the Brazilian market, where customers are increasingly demanding integrated systems and a central point of contact.”

He added: “At the same time, we are opening up new markets and applications and supporting our customers with targeted technical training. This ensures the correct implementation and application of the solutions in our customers’ production facilities and increases their operational efficiency.”

Jens Muhl, technical sales manager sealing systems at Rampf Advanced Polymers, said the cooperation would create “clear added value” for customers in South America.
