Repi appoints Andrea Benedetti to lead US business
Repi has appointed Andrea Benedetti as managing director of Repi LLC, the group's US subsidiary based in Dallas, North Carolina, as the company continues to expand its North American operations.
Benedetti brings more than 15 years of experience in the polyurethane and chemical industries in the US. During his career, he has held a range of positions in both Europe and North America, developing expertise in finance, operations and strategic management.
The appointment comes shortly after Repi completed a major expansion of its Dallas, North Carolina facility. The project included the addition of a new advanced manufacturing area designed to increase production capacity and support growth across the thermoplastics and polyurethane sectors in North America.
According to the company, the investment is intended to strengthen production capabilities, improve responsiveness to customers and support future growth in the region. Benedetti will oversee the next phase of development as Repi seeks to build on its position in colour and additive technologies for polyurethane and thermoplastic applications.
Founded in 1973, Repi manufactures liquid colours and performance additives for polyurethane and thermoplastic applications. The Swiss-based, privately owned group operates production facilities in North America, Europe and Asia and serves customers in more than 80 countries. Recent investments have included the expansion of its US operations and the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Singapore to support growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
The appointment follows a series of management changes within the group over the past two years, including leadership appointments in Germany and Singapore as Repi strengthens its international operations.
