Hennecke PUR Solutions will present continuous slabstock foam production systems designed for Latin American comfort foam manufacturers at Feiplar + Feipur in São Paulo, Brazil.
The company will exhibit alongside cutting equipment specialist Fecken-Kirfel at booth G50 during the event, which takes place from August 25–27.
Hennecke will focus on its JFlex Evo and Smartflex Evo production lines, which are intended for manufacturers with different capacity requirements, investment budgets and available production space.
“With the JFlex Evo and Smartflex Evo, we offer two systems specifically designed to meet the needs of Latin American comfort foam producers. Both technologies combine outstanding product quality with efficient raw material utilization and provide economically attractive solutions for different production capacities and investment budgets,” said Lars Baumann, sales manager slabstock at Hennecke PUR Solutions.
The Smartflex Evo sits between the compact JFlex Evo and Hennecke’s higher-capacity Multiflex system. Its modular, standardized design is intended to lower investment costs while maintaining process reliability and foam quality.
The line does not require a conventional portal, reducing the necessary installation height and allowing it to be installed in plants with limited ceiling clearance. It can process a range of polyols, isocyanates and additives.
Hennecke’s Smartjector injection units provide high-pressure metering, while the standard Flat-Top system creates an almost rectangular foam block to reduce trimming waste. According to the company, the high-pressure metering technology can reduce isocyanate consumption by as much as 4% compared with conventional low-pressure systems.
Process control is handled through Hennecke’s Foamware Slabstock platform, which supports process monitoring, remote servicing and production data management. The line can also be fitted with Novaflex technology for processing modern physical blowing agents.
The latest generation of Hennecke’s compact JFlex Evo line offers continuously adjustable foam widths of 1,550–2,300 mm, optimized rise-plate geometry and a Flat-Top system as standard. Hennecke said the stepless width adjustment reduces changeover times and side-trim waste.
Measuring 12 m long and 4.5 m wide, the JFlex Evo requires around 54 sq m of floor space. It is intended for manufacturers with limited production space or lower output requirements.
Hennecke will also present its 360° Retrofit program, which provides targeted modernization packages for existing slabstock foam lines. The program is designed to improve operating efficiency and extend equipment service life.
At the joint booth, Hennecke and Aachen, Germany-based Fecken-Kirfel will present machinery and cutting technologies covering the slabstock foam production chain.
