Binks will exit the spray foam contractor equipment market by the end of 2026 and discontinue its IS30, IS40 and ST1 Fast Set product families.
The company said the decision followed a review of its product portfolio. Investment will instead be concentrated on its finishing, refinishing and dispensing businesses. The withdrawal is limited to contractor equipment for fast-setting polyurethane foam and polyurea applications and does not affect other Binks products.
The discontinued range includes the IntelliSpray IS30 and IS40 proportioners and ST1 spray gun. The proportioners control the temperature and pressure of the two reactive components used in spray polyurethane foam systems, maintaining the required 1:1 mixing ratio at the point of application.
Final orders for IntelliSpray and ST1 complete assemblies will be accepted through Binks distributors until Nov. 30, 2026. Existing warranties will remain valid for their original terms, while replacement parts are scheduled to remain available until Dec. 31, 2028.
“We are grateful for the partnership this community has shown over the years,” Binks said.
The company had continued promoting the IntelliSpray range as recently as May, when it published a case study covering the use of IS30 and IS40 proportioners by US insulation contractor Johnsonville Spray Foam. The systems were marketed on their rapid heating, remote-control and ratio-monitoring capabilities.
